Here's some basic HTML that I thought might help you enhance your auction descriptions. I've kept it pretty simple so if your looking for more advanced information don't waste your time here.
I have also added a practice area below for your convenience.

To change your font color you would add the following tag
<font color=change-this-to-your-color>
Basic colors by name will work but you can also add the RGB hexadecimal number.
<font color=#000000>
which is the RGB hexidecimal number for black.

You can also change your font size. You can change the number from 1 through 7. 1 being the smallest and 7 being the largest. Here are the 7 different font sizes.

Pretty simple huh?

Below are some basic tags and what they mean

<p> ---> paragraph <br> ---> one line break <b> ---> bold <i> ---> italics <blink> ---> blinks text (the blink tag doesn't work in IE) <center> ---> centers text <u> ---> underlines text

Make sure when you use the tags above to include a </close-tag> at the end.
example: <b>BOLD</b>
example: <center>CENTER</center>
and so on....You don't need to close the <p> or <br> tags.

Practice Area
Try some HTML out here. Just type in the text box and hit view.
First thing to remember is to not let it scare you.
Try this for starters....First type I can do this and click view and see what it looks like then close out that window and hit the clear button and try typing <center><b>I can do this!</b></center>. This will center your text on the page and make it appear bold.
